Patricia Major's writing and editing background includes more than 22 years of business and technical writing for some of the largest companies in Silicon Valley, including Cisco Systems, 3Com, NEC, and Hitachi.

She has also worked on projects for Stanford University, Brandeis University, and for individuals with academic projects and dissertations.

She has won awards of excellence for her writing from the Society for Technical Communications, is a published poet, and is currently writing her second book.
